What taxes and charges apply at D Eastern Hotel?
Non-Malaysian guests pay Malaysia's Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night, collected at check-in. Holders of a Malaysian IC or Malaysian PR card are exempt. The Perak state accommodation charge of RM3 per room per night is already included in our room rate. These are government charges, not hotel fees.

Why do I have to pay Tourism Tax?
Malaysia charges Tourism Tax on accommodation for foreign visitors. Guests with a valid Malaysian IC or PR card are exempt.
Is the tax included in my booking price?
On many booking sites it isn't included and is paid at the hotel. Check your booking confirmation.
Are there any other fees?
- Extra beds are RM40 per person per night if you request one.
- A refundable deposit is collected at check-in; see deposit and payment.
