Does D Eastern Hotel have parking?
Yes. D Eastern Hotel has free private parking on site, at the rear of the building. You don't need to reserve a space; parking is first come, first served. From the hotel you can walk to Old Town and Concubine Lane in about 10 minutes, so most guests leave the car parked for their whole stay.
Parking is free for hotel guests and is on site, behind the building. There's no booking system, so spaces go to whoever arrives first. If you're arriving late in the evening on a busy weekend or public holiday, message the front desk before you arrive and we'll tell you how full it is.
Do I need to pay for parking?
No. Parking at the hotel is free for staying guests.
Is it safe to leave my car overnight?
The car park is on the hotel's own property. The hotel has CCTV outside and in common areas, and a 24-hour front desk.
Do I need the car to explore Ipoh?
Usually not for the centre. The Gerbang Malam night market is about 290 m away, and Old Town is about a 10-minute walk. For the cave temples, Kellie's Castle or Lost World of Tambun you'll want the car or a Grab. See our Old Town parking guide if you plan to drive into the centre.
